The Bloom Package

8 Weeks of Flexible Support

For families wanting more consistent support as they settle into life with a new baby.

Includes:

  • 2–4 recurring shifts per week

  • Choice of:

    • 4–8 hour daytime shifts (between 9am-5pm)

    • AND/OR 8–12 hour overnight shifts (between 6pm-6am)

    • All contracts retain a 16-hour minimum per week

  • Daytimeand/or overnight support

    • Families typically start with 6-8 weeks of overnight care, then transition to daytime care as baby begins to sleep longer stretches at night

  • Personalized postpartum support

  • Newborn care and feeding support

  • Light housekeeping — bottle and pump part washing/sanitizing, washing/drying laundry, folding & putting away baby laundry, parents room refresh (weekly sheet change, light tidy, laundry collection, feeding/changing station restock), dishes, wiping countertops, restocking nursery, etc.

  • As needed sibling care (one-on-one time while parents bond with baby)

  • Nourishing and healing meal, snack, and beverage preparation

  • Freezer stock of meals and snacks

  • Evidence-based education and emotional support

  • Access to referral/resource library

  • Phone/email support between visits

  • One 60-minute postpartum planning session
    (virtual or in-home)

  • Option to extend depending on availability (up to 12 weeks postpartum)

Daytime care:

  • Singleton $50/hour

  • Twins $55/hour

Overnight care:

  • Singleton $55/hour

  • Twins $60/hour

Daytime Support

Nurturing, hands-on care for days at home with your newborn.

Daytime support is designed to bring nourishment, practical support, and reassurance into your home during the early postpartum weeks. Care is tailored to your family’s unique needs each day, but may include:

Newborn Care & Education

  • Diapering, soothing, and reading baby’s cues

  • Safe sleep practices and newborn care guidance

  • Developmentally appropriate care rooted in current evidence

Feeding Support

  • Breast, chest, bottle, or combination feeding support

  • Positioning, latch guidance, and paced bottle feeding

  • Cleaning and organizing feeding supplies

Postpartum Recovery Support

  • Check-ins on physical and emotional recovery

  • Encouragement for rest, hydration, and nourishment throughout the day

  • Care sessions that may include warm epsom salt baths, herbal sitz baths, light massage, etc.

  • Support in navigating the transition to parenthood

Nourishment & Meal Preparation

  • Choose from a postpartum menu of simple, wholesome meals, snacks, and beverages

  • Help with grocery lists and grocery ordering/pickup

  • Focus on warm, grounding, and easily digestible foods

  • Nutrient-dense ingredients to support healing and energy

  • Meals that nourish both you and your family

  • Kitchen reset after meal prep

Overnight Support FAQ’s

Overnight care is designed to provide families with deeper rest, reassurance, and hands-on newborn support throughout the night. Each shift is customized to your feeding preferences and comfort level, and may include:

Newborn Care Throughout the Night

  • Diaper changes, soothing, and settling baby

  • Monitoring baby’s needs and cues

  • Safe, responsive care while you rest

Feeding Support

  • Bringing baby to you for breast/chest feeding

  • Bottle feeding (pumped milk or formula)

  • Burping, resettling, and cleaning feeding supplies

Sleep Support

  • Gentle, developmentally appropriate soothing

  • Support in establishing healthy sleep rhythms

  • No sleep training—only developmentally appropriate and gentle sleep guidance

Emotional Reassurance

  • A calm, steady overnight presence

  • Support for nighttime anxieties or questions

  • Helping you feel safe and supported

Overnight Assistance for Parents

  • Water bottles filled

  • Snacks for mom during feedings if desired

  • Text availability throughout the night

Quiet Household Reset

  • Washing bottles or pump parts

  • Tidying baby areas

  • Preparing things for an easier morning

Meal* & Breakfast Prep

  • Choose from a postpartum menu of simple, wholesome meals, snacks, and beverages

*While light breakfast prep will be provided for all overnight shifts, larger meal prep is only offered for overnight shifts starting between 6pm-8pm. This allows time for me to finish cooking and resetting the kitchen before transitioning my care to quiet overnight duties.
